For the proper identification of disease there would be antigens are required which are specific for the typhoid diagnosis.

Typhoid fever remain a health problems in many countries and there are estimated 540 death out of 100000 population. The conventional method for the diagnosis of typhoid are blood culture test and antibody test but there are many variations are occurred which have improved these two method of testing.

How bacteria cause the typhoid:

When we drink or eat food contaminated with Salmonella typhi, this bacteria move into our digestive track and at that place it starts multiply.

And this causes fever vomiting and constipation or diarrhea. If it left untreated it will move into blood stream and harm the whole body. If any organs and tissue become injured by this infection it will cause serious complication such as section of bowel excruciating open and sometimes cause internal bleeding and this will be fatal.

In the endemic area where there are no other facility of typhoid test Widal test is considered to be a safe and easier.

Advances in typhoid diagnosis:

In these day, an ideal typhoid detecting test should be rapid and safe. An anti-Vi test is considered to be safe and effective for the diagnosis of typhoid in these days. Recent study on typhoid shown that the risks of gallbladder carcinoma has increased among typhoid carriers.
