Punjab at high risk of dengue fever

 During the last 24 hours almost 189 confirmed cases of dengue are reported from across the province. And 138 cases are reported a cross the Lahore .And about 86 cases are reported across Islamabad. During the last 24 hours almost 416,682 indoor location and 83,183 outdoor locations were checked.

 

And this was described that ELISA testing facility is now available in Punjab for testing the dengue .A meeting was held to check the outbreak and measurement of dengue. The Additional Deputy Commissioner order that the district administer officers are continuously monitoring the cases of dengue and also checking the prevention activates.

 

This data have shown that on average daily three to five positive cases of dengue were emerging in Punjab in September and it has now increase to over 150 daily cases in sepetember.The reason is that people are not taking safety measure and lack of surveillance activates and lack of anti-Dengue campaign in Punjab.


 




Health authorities said that virus was increasing burden and it could become an epidemic. Doctors says that vitamin C rich foods play an important role in immune functions. So, you have to use vitamin C to protect yourself from disease.
