What are the risk factors associated with muscle strain?

 



 


Muscles strain is a muscle injury .Muscles injury is sprain strain and dislocation. Muscle strain is a situation in which your muscles are overstrached.This is the result of overuse or improper use of muscle .Strains mostly happen in muscle, lower back, neck, shoulder, and hamstring.


It is a compression based injury in which muscles fibers split due to extensive mechanical stress. The reason of muscle strain is over-stretching of muscle or contraction of muscles.



Causes of muscle strain:


Muscle strain occur when your muscle suddenly tear and this type of condition occur due to some muscle injuries.


 

Poor flexibility

Poor conditioning

Fatigue

Overexertion

not warming up before exercise

Repeating the same motion






Symptoms of muscle strain:


Pain

Feeling difficulty in moving a muscle

Weakness in muscle

Discoloration

Swelling of muscle

Bruising


In muscle strain your muscle become tight and always feel stretch. During high speed activity imbalance in your muscle occurs. And weak muscles cannot tolerate stress and cause muscle strain.


Poor physical fitness, smoking, poor posture, obesity, physical deficiencies, medical definiteness are the risk factors that may be reasons of  muscle strains.
